Apply REN Putty with a filling knife, filling blade or brick trowel. Surfaces should be clean, dry and fixed without significant smudging. Remove loose plaster, wall coverings, wallpaper etc. before filling. Base-coat very absorbent areas with REN Exterior Paint or REN Interior Paint diluted with 10-15% water before filling. Smoothing the surface is generally recommended. If grinding is required, suitable safety equipment should be used and a vacuum cleaner should be attached
to the grinding equipment. Drying time 6-8 hours at a temperature of 25°C and 60% RH. A second layer of REN Exterior Paint or REN Interior Paint may be applied after four hours. Always carry out a test application before commencing work.

Coverage guide

Coverage is 100-120 grams per metre depending on the condition of the surface. Please note that application in excessive layer thickness may cause micro-cracks.
